Beginning with the January 1, 2019 assessment date:
if form 11s are mailed
 - Before May 1 the Appeal Deadline is June 15 of the assessment year.

 - On or after May 1 the Appeal Deadline is June 15 of the next year.

Board Appointments

The PTABOA is comprised of two appointments made by the City/County Council, one of whom must be certified by the Department of Local Government Finance as a Level II Assessor-Appraiser, unless waived. Three freehold appointments are made by the County Commissioners, one of whom must be certified by the Department of Local Government Finance as a Level II Assessor-Appraiser, unless waived. County Assessor is the secretary. (No more than three members may be from the same political party.) (IC 6-01.1- 28-01)
