    Marshmallows and Meteors! Closed for Registration! The Perseid Meteor showers peak during this week in August. Bring a blanket and bug spray, and watch for meteors on Carlisle Hill. Marshmallows will be provided at the campfire. Registration is required by August 10.

    Be Well Start on the path to better health! Join us for a series designed to help you "Be Well" and live a better live. Each week will feature a short session on a wellness topic, connect you to free community resources, and suggest apps to help you on your path to wellness. Representatives from the St. Joseph County Health Department and Purdue University Extension Service will be available to answer questions and St. Joseph County Parks Department staff will lead a short walk in the park. ...

    Paddle on the Ponds Paddle on the Ponds Noon-4pm, weather permitting Fee: FREE Paddle on the Ponds is an introduction to canoeing for first-time paddlers, families with young kids, or adults coming back to the sport. Not recommended for children 3 years and under. All equipment is provided.

    Running Wild: 5K trail run and 3K fun walk Running Wild 2020 is going virtual! Run anytime between August 15-23, 2020. With a virtual race, you can run the 5K distance anywhere, in your neighborhood, on a treadmill, at a nearby park, or on the 5K course at St. Patrick's County Park. 3K Wacky Nature Scavenger Hunt will be self-let at St. Patrick's County Park!     Summer Fling for the Little Ones Join us for a special morning of activities for children five and und4er. Experience the best of the season with mud painting, mud pies, and giant bubbles. You can also dig in the dirt for treasures, hear a summer story, sample a tasty snack, and play on the playground! Registration and payment are required by August 18.

    Campfire Cooking: Sweet Biscuit Pies & Orienteering - St. Patrick's County Park - Brown Barn Ages 10 & up, accompanied by an adult. Connect in a wilderness setting, bond over a campfire, and enjoy an outdoor experience with park staff and Martin's School of Cooking. Ingredients and supplies will be provided, all you need to do is show up ready to cook, eat, and have fun! Register online at Martin's Supermarket, School of Cooking.
